Professional career:

Thomas Marten-Oltrogge has been involved in the candy industry for more than 20 years. He started his career around the natural ingredient Gum Acacia from the beginning.

After receiving his Professional Diploma in Foreign Trade from the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and his Bachelor Degrees in International Business Administration (Hamburg School of Business Administration from 1998-2001) and his Bachelor of Marketing Management at the Hogeschool van Utrecht, Netherlands (2002), he already got involved in the sourcing, import and distribution of Gum Acacia as an Assistant Product Manager in Hamburg.

From 2004-2007, Thomas filled the position of Product Manager Gum Acacia in Chicago, USA for import and sales of Gum Acacia and other ingredients to the US-confectionery industry with the subsequent management of the worldwide Gum Acacia Division until 2010.

Responsible for raw material purchase, production, product development and application, sales pricing of Norevo Confectionery Performers - ready-to-use ingredient systems such as coating, polishing, and texturizing agents from own production - to the confectionery industry worldwide (2010-present).
