Ceremony at Valor

And the Winner is: Valor Chocolates

Spanish family-owned Chocolatier Valor got 2011 European Candy Kettle Award for outstanding product quality and best marketing strategies over the past years.

Chocolate is a big deal in Spain. The market is big, especially for high quality products. But there are only a few companies that are able to satisfy the need for high quality chocolates. One of them is Valor Chocolates.

The company was founded in 1881 by Don Valeriano López Lloret who startet his business in Villajoyyosa near Alicante in the south of Spain.

Over the years Valor expanded successfully with the traditional chocolate bars as well as with their drink chocolate range „chocolate a la taza“. Nowadays Valor is owned in fourth generation by Pedro López López. Valor Chocolates celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2006.

For this reason the Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Asturias visited the company.

Valor Chocolates produces a wide range of chocolate bars in milk, white and dark chocolate. Very successful is also the sugar-free range.

The company runs nearly 40 chocolate cafes all over Spain under the umbrella brand of Valor in a franchise system.

The company is still one of the most innovative chocolate producers in Spain which is one of the reasons why Valor received the honorable Candy Kettle Award in 2011 – Congratulations to Pedro López López and the people of Valor!
