Urs Truttmann, born 1980 in Switzerland, studied mechanical engineering at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. 2010, he finished the RWTH Aachen’s Executive MBA programme in technology management.

He is married to Christina, father of two sons and a passionate skier.

After several years of experience in R&D and Innovation management in the automation and capital-goods industry, Urs joined Rupperswil based Max Riner as Head of Engineering in 2013. Involved from the beginning in the fundamental change process taking place at Max Riner, Urs was announced CEO of the company in July 2016.

Max Riner is one of the global leading chocolate mould manufacturers. Being well known for chocolate moulds of the highest quality, Max Riner now adds more value for the customers with life cycle management solutions or smart components for chocolate moulds.
